Winter is a great time for lots of things. Catching up on books, good movies, getting together with friends and family when schedules aren’t so frantic. With the drier air, and luckily a wood burning stove, it’s the best time for curing soap too.
The shelves are getting lined up with batch after batch of cold process soaps just hanging out, curing away. My number one best seller is simply “Lavender,” so I’ll have over 100 bars to start. Pictured here is my newest addition to the soap family “Activated Charcoal” which was a personal request, and I’ve been anxious to try it anyway, so here goes! Also, a good friend enjoys “Tea Tree & Eucalyptus” so I poured 2 batches today, after a sell out last year. More to follow.
Looks like customers enjoyed the “Mega Bath Bombs” at Christmas, so there will be more in the line up this year. Along with the lip-loving lip balms, I’ll be adding Lip Gloss, something else I’ve wanted to try.
You never know what might turn up, I’d stay tuned if I were you!
